I started this blog at first as diary for myself. Initially I did it because I was totally overwhelmed when I first became involve with the horses, in particular with 'Mr F'. So much so that my entire being was buzzing as though it was electrically charged each time I had come back into the house after handling them. My partner at the time had absolutely no interest nor could he even remotely follow anything I blurted out, I don't think anybody I spoke to in those days could make sense of it.
In those days I quite regularly visited various public houses and I very often found myself talking to random strangers about the horses. It just blurted out, mostly very much to the unwilling listener's dismay, bearing it while sitting there with a kind of glazed over look on the face, hoping I'd stop or that someone might interrupt us. I admit at the beginning I didn't even notice that I was doing this, it just burst out.
Eventually I realised that I was on my own with this but I needed some outlet. That is why I started this diary. For myself, to keep track on happenings and to write down my observations.
As time passed, the odd remark about my diary slipped out and people said: 'Oh, a blog? You must show me some day.'
I wasn't really keen on the idea as much of the entries are quite
private. Also, much of my discoveries and observations made me reach conclusions that will seem controversial to most horse owners / riders.
Yet in honour of 'Mr F' and all the other equines, I decided to make it publicly available.
But please note:
Instead this blog / diary is an account of what these noble creatures are teaching me, every day anew, because every day is new.
We (the quine crew and I) hope you enjoy!
